Yansis supplies, designs and installs fire detection and safety systems. We start with a
site survey, design the system, supply the equipment, install it on site, commission it,
and take on the periodic maintenance of what we build.
Our products are manufactured by ESPO Electronic. Working under the same roof as the
manufacturer has practical consequences: technical support comes directly from the
production team rather than through an intermediary, supply does not wait on an import
schedule, and when a project calls for something specific we can talk to production
directly. The system we install has a manufacturer standing behind it five years from now.
This does not mean selling the same thing to every project. If a building is adequately
served by a conventional system, we will not sell an addressable one; and where an
addressable system is genuinely required, we will not recommend conventional because it
is cheaper.
What we do
Fire detection. Addressable and conventional systems. Panel selection, loop and zone
planning, detector layout, cabling, commissioning.
Gas detection. Methane gas detector applications in kitchens, boiler rooms and plant
areas where natural gas is used.
Integration. Making systems talk to each other. Lifts returning to ground floor on alarm,
fire dampers closing, access control doors releasing, cameras starting to record. Bringing
separately operating systems under a single cause-and-effect scenario is the most technical
part of our work.
Maintenance and service. Periodic maintenance of the systems we install, inspection of
existing systems, fault finding and upgrades.
How we work
We do not quote without seeing the project. Building type, floor areas, compartment count,
ceiling height and occupancy change the system from the ground up. A warehouse and a hotel
of the same floor area call for entirely different solutions.
We show the basis of the calculation. Alongside the equipment list we set out which
standard, which rule and which site condition produced that number. The client knows what
they are paying for.
We propose what is needed, no more. Too few detectors is a life safety failure; too many is
the client's money. Both are mistakes.
We hand over the documentation. System drawings, device address list, test report and
maintenance schedule are delivered with the project. Five years later, when a fault comes
up, what was installed and where each device sits is on record.
Where we work
We run projects across a range of scales, from residential and office buildings to
hospitals, schools and hotels, and from production facilities to warehouses and logistics
centres. A small apartment block and a production plant do not call for the same approach;
the one thing they share is that the system has to work on the day there is a fire.
